STOP FIGHTING Yourself!

If you constantly feel overwhelmed, stuck in your own head, emotionally exhausted, inconsistent, or frustrated by your lack of follow-through, you’re not alone.

Many adults with ADHD struggle with overthinking conversations, setting boundaries without guilt, managing emotional overwhelm, following through consistently, and feeling like they’re capable of more—but can’t seem to access their full potential consistently.

At Grow Our Light, my goal is to help you build confidence, improve communication, strengthen self-trust, and create more momentum in your life and work—without relying on shame, perfectionism, or burnout.

Hi, I’m Joey

I help professionals, entrepreneurs, and adults with ADHD stop fighting themselves so they can improve communication, strengthen confidence, follow through more consistently, and create more momentum in their lives and work.

My coaching combines emotional intelligence, practical strategy, accountability, communication coaching, and ADHD-aware support to help people navigate overwhelm, self-doubt, emotional burnout, difficult conversations, and the frustration of feeling capable of more—but struggling to access it consistently.

I believe lasting growth happens when people feel supported, understood, challenged, and equipped with tools that actually work for the way their brain operates.

As an ICF Professional Certified Coach (PCC) with over a decade of experience, I’ve helped hundreds of people just like you better understand how their brain works so they can stop fighting themselves and create more clarity, consistency, and momentum in their lives.

You must do it your way; all you need is a little guidance.

My Journey With ADHD

Growing up, I constantly heard things like:

“Why don’t you just focus?”
“Why don’t you try harder?”
“Why can’t you just apply yourself?”
“Why don’t you study more?”
“Why can’t you stay consistent?”

For a long time, those messages made me feel like something was wrong with me.

I thought the answer was always more pressure, more effort, more discipline, and trying harder than everyone else just to keep up.

But over time, I realized real growth wasn’t about constantly fighting myself.

It was about understanding how my brain worked, learning how to work with it instead of against it, building better systems and support, improving communication, developing emotional resilience, and letting go of the shame that so many people with ADHD carry every day.

That journey eventually led me into coaching.

For over a decade now, I’ve helped hundreds of people just like you navigate challenges related to ADHD, communication, confidence, emotional overwhelm, follow-through, boundaries, self-doubt, and personal growth.

Today, I help professionals, entrepreneurs, and adults with ADHD navigate many of the same struggles I once faced—overthinking, burnout, emotional frustration, communication challenges, difficulty following through consistently, and feeling capable of more but unsure how to access that potential in a sustainable way.

My role isn’t to “fix” you.

It’s to help you better understand yourself, strengthen self-trust, improve communication, develop practical strategies, and build momentum in a way that actually works for your life and brain.

WHY WORK WITH GROW OUR LIGHT?

ADHD coaching isn’t about becoming a completely different person. It’s about better understanding how your brain works so you can stop fighting yourself and create more clarity, confidence, communication, and momentum in your everyday life.

At Grow Our Light, the focus is on practical growth, emotional resilience, communication skills, self-awareness, accountability, and building systems that actually work for you—not against you.

HOW I SUPPORT MY CLIENTS

My coaching is designed to help professionals, entrepreneurs, and adults with ADHD navigate overwhelm, improve follow-through, strengthen communication, build healthier boundaries, and reduce the constant cycle of self-doubt, burnout, and overthinking.

Together, we focus on practical strategies, emotional awareness, accountability, communication skills, and building sustainable systems that support your goals, relationships, career, and overall well-being.

Whether you feel mentally scattered, emotionally exhausted, stuck in procrastination, or frustrated by inconsistency, coaching gives you a space to slow down, better understand yourself, and create meaningful momentum forward.

MY COACHING PHILOSOPHY

I believe people grow best when they feel supported—not shamed.

Lasting change doesn’t come from constantly criticizing yourself or trying to force yourself into systems that don’t fit the way your brain naturally operates.

Real growth comes from building self-awareness, improving communication, strengthening emotional resilience, developing healthier habits, and creating practical strategies that help you work with yourself instead of against yourself.

My role as a coach isn’t to “fix” you. It’s to help guide, support, challenge, and equip you with tools that help you navigate life with greater clarity, confidence, and consistency.
